Namma Car Wash ("we", "us", "our") provides doorstep car cleaning and detailing services in Bangalore, India. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
  • Service address & location — the address where you want the wash, and (only if you choose to share it) your GPS location to help the technician reach you.
  • Booking details — vehicle type, selected services, schedule and any special instructions.
  • Payment information — payments are processed securely by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers.
  • Job photos — before/after photos a technician may take of your vehicle, kept for a limited period (about 30 days) for quality and dispute resolution.
  • Usage data — basic technical information (such as device/browser type) needed to operate and secure the website.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create, schedule and fulfil your car-wash bookings.
  • To assign a technician and let them navigate to your location.
  • To process payments and issue receipts/invoices.
  • To send you service updates and confirmations (see WhatsApp below).
  • To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
  • To improve our services and keep the platform secure.

3. WhatsApp & Other Messaging

With your booking, we may send you transactional messages on WhatsApp, SMS or email — such as booking confirmations, technician assignment and status updates. These are sent using the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta). We send service-related (utility) messages only. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP or contacting us.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — e.g. Razorpay (payments), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging), and our hosting/database providers.
  • Our technicians, limited to the details needed to perform your booking (name, address, contact, vehicle).
  • Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Job photos are automatically deleted after about 30 days.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for marketing or messaging at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

8. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
